Dortek

Project Overview

Dortek reached a point where their existing infrastructure was limiting production. Their paint booths used standard double doors that were too small for their larger products, creating a bottleneck that slowed down their entire finishing process.

Our Solution

We overhauled the booths by removing the old doors and installing two insulated industrial roller doors. This project involved:

  • Expanding the access points from 2 metres by 2 metres to a much larger 4 metres by 3 metres on both booths.
  • Improving thermal efficiency with insulated door lath.
  • Enhancing production capacity by allowing for the painting of oversized items.
The Result

By doubling the entry space, the client is now able to take on larger contracts and process their products much faster than before, significantly increasing their daily output.

Carpet World

Project Overview

The priority for Carpet World was weather protection at their loading bays. The client needed a way to keep out wind and rain during winter months while ensuring the warehouse remained as bright as possible for staff during picking and packing.

Our Solution

We installed a RapidSlider system using high quality translucent PVC. This bespoke installation featured:

  • Weather tight seals to prevent rain damage to carpet stock.
  • Lightweight sliding panels for effortless manual operation.
  • Light transmitting fabric to reduce the need for expensive artificial lighting.
The Result

The warehouse is now protected from the elements. This reduces energy costs and protects valuable stock from water damage during deliveries and loading.

Severn Trent

Project Overview

Severn Trent needed an intelligent access solution for their vehicle workshop in Stoke. The aim was to prevent dust and debris from entering the clean workshop area during fleet servicing without slowing down the movement of service vans.

Our Solution

We installed the RapidSlider system for its combination of speed and protection. Key features included:

  • High speed sliding action to allow for quick vehicle entry and exit.
  • Translucent PVC material to ensure the workshop stays bright with natural light.
  • Effective dust seals to keep the servicing environment clean and professional.
The Result

The workshop now benefits from improved air quality and protection from external contaminants while maintaining the high operational speed required for fleet maintenance.

Countess of Chester Hospital

Project Overview

The hospital required a fire rated partition to segregate remedial building works from active patient wards. In a healthcare environment, the safety of patients and the reduction of noise are the two highest priorities during any site improvements.

Our Solution

We installed a ThermalShield wall to provide a secure and compliant fire break. The project involved:

  • Certified fire rated partitioning to meet strict healthcare safety regulations.
  • Soundproof barrier technology to ensure patients were not disturbed by renovation works.
  • A rapid and clean installation to avoid disrupting hospital operations.
The Result

The hospital maintained a calm and safe environment for recovery while ensuring all construction areas were fully compliant with fire safety laws and hospital protocols.

Diageo

Project Overview

At the Diageo site in Bishop’s Stortford, the goal was to provide a full height screening solution to isolate a major construction project from the active manufacturing floor. It was critical to stop construction dust from contaminating production lines and to maintain high air quality standards for beverage production.

Our Solution

We utilised the RapidFireWall system to create a floor to ceiling barrier. This installation included:

  • Dust suppression fabric to protect sensitive production areas.
  • Acoustic insulation properties to shield the factory from site noise.
  • Full height panel sections for a complete seal between the two zones.
The Result

The installation allowed construction to proceed without risking product contamination or distracting the factory workforce with excessive noise from the building works.

Unilever

Project Overview

The Unilever production facility in Leeds follows a strict hygiene protocol involving a high pressure wash down of the factory floor every day. The client needed a way to protect sensitive equipment and other areas of the plant from water spray and mist during this process.

Our Solution

We installed high level RapidFireWall panels designed specifically for high moisture environments. The project included:

  • Strategic high level placement to act as a splash barrier during cleaning.
  • Water resistant fabric partitions that can withstand daily chemical wash downs.
  • Bespoke panel fitting to ensure the factory remains compliant with health and safety standards.
The Result

The installation ensures the factory infrastructure remains protected. This allows the cleaning teams to work efficiently without risking damage to nearby machinery or electronics.

Fix Auto

Project Overview

Fix Auto in Milton Keynes needed a rapid solution to manage safety and noise during a phase of internal building works. It was essential to have a fire rated partition that could protect the rest of the site and the public from the active construction area.

Our Solution

We selected the ThermalShield wall system for its versatile protective properties. This installation provided:

  • A certified fire rating to ensure site safety and insurance compliance.
  • Excellent noise reduction to shield staff and customers from heavy machinery sounds.
  • A physical barrier to contain dust and debris within the work zone.
The Result

This allowed the client to continue their daily operations without any disruption. They maintained a safe and professional environment for their customers throughout the renovation.

HMG Paints

Project Overview

At the HMG Paints facility in Manchester, the primary objective was the protection of raw materials and finished stock. The client required two dedicated paint stores to be fully insulated to prevent temperature fluctuations from affecting the chemical composition of the paint products.

Our Solution

We utilised ThermalShield panels for their superior thermal properties. This project involved:

  • Creating two dedicated climate controlled stores within the existing warehouse footprint.
  • Using high performance insulation to maintain a constant internal temperature.
  • A rapid installation process to ensure the facility was operational as quickly as possible.
The Result

Our lightweight partitions created a controlled environment that offers a cost effective alternative to traditional permanent cold storage or blockwork construction.

Gama Aviation

Project Overview

Gama Aviation required a robust internal partitioning system at their Gloucester Airport facility to create a clear physical boundary between clean areas and preparation zones. The installation needed to maintain a sterile environment without hindering the constant movement of heavy plant machinery and staff.

Our Solution

We installed a full height ThermalShield wall to provide maximum insulation and separation. Key features of this installation included:

  • High speed industrial roller doors to allow for seamless vehicle and plant machinery access.
  • Reinforced pedestrian doors to ensure safe and easy movement for on-site staff.
  • Floor to ceiling thermal panels to maintain strict climate and hygiene standards.
The Result

This setup provides a durable and long term solution for high traffic aviation environments. It ensures total operational efficiency while meeting all necessary clean room requirements.
